1 – First you must keep in mind that you are where you are! Your relationship didn’t get where it is today overnight, so you must know that it will not be a overnight process getting back with your ex. Be patient and know things will all work out. If you see your ex around be cordial, give eye contact, and don’t act needy.

2 – Start opening the lines of communication if you already haven’t. If you have be sure that all old baggage from the past has been released. Think of it like you’re traveling up a mountain with a pack strapped to your back full of bricks. You can struggle up with this ridiculously heavy pack or just start getting rid of the bricks. When you start communicating don’t show all of your cards. Leave something to the imagination, be nice maybe flirt if you see him out and about but give off a vibe that he is not the only thing on your mind.

3 – Confidence breeds more confidence, looking your best does something to you. When you can look your best regardless of what is going on in your life, people will realize that you are unaffected by conditions. Like Outkast said keep it “So fresh and so clean clean” no sitting around in jogging suit depressed. Stay fresh, change it up and have fun!

4 – All the nagging and the rehashing of old hurt needs to stop! When you talk to him make him feel good and maybe reminisce on good times. Don’t be shy in giving him compliments every now and then. You want him to realize why he became attached to you in the first place. When you can feel good when your around your ex they will in turn feel good also.

All great relationships I believe start with great friendships. Remember the friendship and the companionship that you once shared. Let your ex know that you will always be friends and work to maintain that friendship. Start to open up to him while still projecting that vibe that you are not needy. Remember how fun life is and how fun life can really be.
